28 years old daughter of the late Circuit Manager arrested after linked to murder of his father, Dr Malekutu Mehlape.

MANKWENG| On Thursday 2023-12-28 Malekutu Johannes Mehlape (56), who was the Lebopo Circuit Manager, was gunned down at his home in Mankweng zone 1 outside Polokwane, Limpopo, during an alleged house robbery. 

This comes after two unknown suspects ambushed Mehlape’s daughter, who was returning from a soccer tournament at 9pm. 

They ordered the daughter to get inside the house, where they found a deceased s son and demanded to know the whereabouts of Dr Mehlape before robbing one of them of a cellphone. 

The suspects ordered the children to Dr Mehlape's bedroom, where they woke him up and demanded money.  

It's alleged after he gave them a wallet containing an undisclosed amount of cash, they then shot him several times and fled the scene on foot. 

A team consists of crime intelligence, Provincial tracking team and provincial murder and robbery was assembled to expedite the investigation 

On Thursday 2024-01-11 the team made breakthrough by arresting 28 years old daughter of deceased who is positively link to the crime.

The team is hot on heels of outstanding suspects.

The arrested suspect will appear before Mankweng magistrate court soon facing the following charges 

Premeditated murder 

Defeating ends of justice

Cape Town nightclub boss Joel Booysen has shut down speculation that he is dating Nadia Nakai. He has even insisted the girlfriend of his “friend,” AKA is more like a “sister” to him.

According to the Daily Voice, Joel Booysen set the record straight on his relationship with Nadia Nakai.

The father-of-two – who is the owner of clubs Sneaker Cartel and Jet Lounge – invited the rapper to perform at one of his venues late last year.

In a social media post on his private Instagram page, he said, “Me and Nadia are just friends. We were at my nightclub in town, and she hosted at my place that night.

Joey Booysen – who last year survived two hits, reportedly linked to his alleged gangster father Jerome, claimed he was a friend of AKA.

He continued: “Me and AKA were friends. He was a great person. I am in a relationship. Me and Nadia are just friends.” (sic)

Joel added that the popular TikTok account was fake. He added: “I have never had any TikTok accounts in my life. This account is big, and plenty of people follow it, thinking that it’s me.

“I need people to know. We had it in the newspaper, but some still haven’t gotten the memo.”

The singer Kelly Khumalo has came out about Senzo Meyiwa murder

Singer Kelly Khumalo has been implicated as the person who ordered the killing of the her then-boyfriend and father of her child Senzo Meyiwa, by accused 1 and 2, Muzi Sibiya and Bongani Ntanzi, in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.

 

This is according to Brigadier Bongani Gininda, the main investigator in the murder case of Meyiwa. Gininda stated that the cell phone connections between Khumalo and two other accused, Mthobisi Mncube and Fisokuhle Ntuli, implicated her in the murder of Meyiwa

“These linkages connect her to accused three and five. It was further discovered that through cellphone analysis her cellphone memory album has the same photo of a see-through bag containing cash notes and in the exact position or location or spot of that of accused number three. There is no reasonable explanation as to why Kelly Khumalo would be in contact telephonically with a hitman or killers of her boyfriend and share the same picture of a bag all of money,”

 

“As early as 2013 she wanted to get rid of the deceased as she put it. It is apparently clear that she hated him and she wanted to get rid of him. She further states that she regrets not successfully getting rid of him before, he said.
