Man arrested in Mamelodi after bribing a cop with R10K for the release of his two friends who were arrested for robbery and possession of illegal guns.

The vigilance of the police at Mamelodi East led to the arrest of three suspects for possession of unlicensed firearm, ammunition and bribery.


Two suspects  arrested on 11 March 2024 while police were conducting crime prevention duties during which the suspects were found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition. Later the same day, another suspect reportedly came to the police station and offered a bribe of R10 000.00 for the release of the two suspects. He was immediately arrested for bribery. All three will appear in court soon.

In another separate incident, a team of SAPS Highway patrol, Ekurhuleni K9 Unit, EMPD and Springs LCRC members arrested five suspects and seized one firearm with a filled off serial number, ammunition, false number plates and housebreaking implements.


On 11 March 2024, the team operationalised information about alleged business robbers around the East Rand. The members strategically placed themselves and the suspected vehicles were spotted. An attempt was made to stop the vehicles which sped off, leading to a chase. The two vehicles were eventually corned at Boksburg CBD. A total of five suspects were arrested and further investigations will be conducted to establish linkages to other crimes.

The Provincial Commissioner of SAPS in Gauteng, Lieutenant General Tommy Mthombeni has applauded the members for their commitment in fighting crime in the province, especially corruption and exposing those who attempt to bribe the police. "The positive attitude, honesty and integrity displayed by members through upholding and enforcing the law as mandated by the Constitution of the Country is commendable.


The public is urged to be whistle blowers and take part in stopping corruption. Bribery is a criminal offence which is punishable by law.

Father Collapsed After DNA Results:


An unknown man collapsed on the ground on Monday night the 11 of March at a petrol station at Ga-Mphaka outside Burgersfort in Limpopo.The man alleged had just learned that three children he was raising for years were not his biological children.


Police were summoned to the area and started to barricade the scene with danger tape. Reports alleged that the man received a call which stated that three children he was raising as his were not his children. The man who was driving a Citi Golf, collapsed shortly after the call.

Son arrested after beating his mother's boyfriend to death for GBV.

A 33-year-old man was taken into custody in Lephalale after his mother's partner was severely assaulted in Lephalale on Saturday afternoon, 09 March 2024 at about 15:00.

Police responded to the report of murder in the early hours of, Monday 11 March 2024, at Lephalale hospital. Upon arrival, they found the 54-year-old male victim who reportedly succumbed to the injuries after being assaulted the previous two days ago.


They opened a case of murder and commenced with investigations which resulted in the apprehension of the son of the deceased's partner.


Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect was visiting the couple at the man's home on a farm, when he found his mother with injuries after she was assaulted by her partner. The suspect raged over the incident and that resulted in a physical altercation.

The suspect was arrested at his home in Shongwane village and is expected to appear before Lephalale Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, 12 March 2024 facing a charge of murder.


The Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has condemned this type of domestic related incidents which could be avoided when issues are resolved amicably.

Maglera Doe Boy denies dating Cyan Boujee


Maglera Doe Boy has come clean regarding rumours of him being romantically involved with the controversial influencer Cyan Boujee.



Social media has been buzzing recently after Cyan Boujee made headlines when she posted some saucy content of herself and her unknown boyfriend, which netizens online believed was the 018 hitmaker Maglera Doe Boy. 



The young star denied and slammed the rumours on his Twitter page, mentioning that it wasn't him in the pictures and that he isn't dating Cyan Boujee, whose real name is Honour Zuma. 

"Okay it was funny but before it gets out of hand.That is not me in the image with Cyan. I don’t have Jewelry with diamonds. Crazier niggas think I can afford diamonds like that. I own a Polo and I buy Carvelas ka month end."

Horrific Accident,R34 Road:

R34 road between Vryheid and Ulundi in Kwa-Zulu Natal is closed following a fiery head-on collision between two trucks.

Both trucks caught fire immediately after the horrific crash.

All services are mobile and some already on scene.

Motorist traveling between the two towns are advised to use alternative routes.


Hearse Burned Into Ashes At The Cemetery:

 

Mouneres where shocked at a local cemetery at Ga-Malope cemetery in Wales village outside Acornhoek on Sunday morning the 10 of March.It alleged that the mouners had shortly arrived at Ga-Malope cemetery to bury their loved one.Everything went according to the program but after they offloaded the coffin from the hearse,the hearse quickly caught fire in an explosive way.

The hearse burnt into ashes few seconds after they offloaded the coffin.According to mouners,they said the fire started like an explotion,within seconds the hearse burnt into ashes.The mouners where shocked and has no choice but to watch in agony when the strong flames covered the hearse.The mourner's believed it was the grace of God that saved the body of their loved one from the fire,it could been worse.The fire was meant to burnt the coffin but because of the grace,it happened moment after we offloaded our loved ones from the hearse.The video of the incident is making rounds on social media and is now the talk of the village.

Child Rescued From Possessed Mother, Casteel:

 

A toddler has been rescued from his mother who is allegedly possessed by demons in Morithing village, Casteel near Acornhoek.It alleged that passerby saw a mother attacking her own children on the R40 road bridge near Casteel Usave on Wednesday the 6 of March.It alleged the woman was bitting her own child on the road in an inhumane manner.The scene quickly attracted motorist and the police who where passing by where summoned by the people to witness the behavior of the woman.

The SAPS and provincial traffic control members didn't know how to deal with the situation.The mother is alleged from Morithing village popular known as Mthonzini.The mother had strength as the people struggle to rescue the child from her.She looked too possessed and thirsty for the blood of her own son.She spoke scary things and the child who was traumatised by the incident was finally rescued from her teeth.The videos of this incident are making rounds on social media.

The community says evil spirits is roaming the streets of Casteel and Ratanang village.They say a week ago,this spirits brought a local secondary school to a standstill as half of the children collapsed after being possessed by evil demons during school hours.Learning where adjourned on that fateful day at Mosipa secondary school.
