The SAPS Free State Diving Unit attended to various Search And Rescue incidents on Monday, 08 April 2024 in Kroonstad and Bloemfontein respectively following heavy rain in these areas. Police are pleading with motorists and members of the community to avoid flash flood-prone areas. 

Since heavy rains started in the areas surrounding Kroonstad, the team was called to an unfortunate incident after a drowning incident was reported. The team had to search for a male person who drowned after he attempted to drive through a body of water. The team was called and the body of a 50-year-old male was retrieved from the water.

Another call was from Bloemfontein, where about four motorists were left stranded under a bridge after their vehicles got stuck fully submerged under water but with no injuries.

Mahikeng - After weeks of rumours and speculation, Rapper and Businessman Refiloe Phoolo also known as "Cassper Nyovest" has finally made it official and tied the knot to Pulane Mojaki, who is his childhood friend.

Attacked by four men near a tavern. The woman and her friend went to a tavern and decided to go to the bushes to use the restroom.

 Suddenly, the suspects appeared with guns and ambushed them.

The male friend was scared away by warning shots, leaving the woman alone with the four perpetrators. They then proceeded to rape the woman.

Once the assault was over, the men ran away, and the woman went to the main road to seek assistance.

Breaking news: WOMAN GAVE BIRTH AND DUMPED BABY IN A DRAIN AT EVANDER

The police in Evander in Mpumalanga are searching for a woman who concealed birth in the early hours of this morning, 04 April 2024.

 

It would appear as though the woman gave birth on the grass next to the drain, thereby dumping the baby inside the drain and leaving behind the placenta on the grass.

 

The baby was spotted by a passerby at about 06h30 who informed the police and emergency personnel.

 

The baby was then rescued and taken to the hospital for medical attention.
